About USA Assistance
We've been through the system thousands of times - so you don't have to
USA Assistance has guided US citizens and their families in Israel with over five years of experience and more than 4,000 satisfied clients. We handle everything related to the US Embassy - passports, citizenship, visas and taxes - fast, efficiently, and with no fee until you see results.
David Hochheiser - Founder
It started in 2019, when I had to fly to the US to obtain citizenship for my children. Instead of hiring an outside firm, I decided to handle the visas myself. I spent hours on end learning the system and arranged everything on my own. Then I did the same for my nieces and nephews, and more people started reaching out.
Early in the COVID era, when it was nearly impossible to secure passport appointments at the embassy, I quickly became one of the leading providers in the field. People came to me because they knew I could get what others couldn't. From there I added more services: child citizenship, the grandparent route, US taxes, and visas of every kind.
Today I stand behind 4,000+ satisfied clients, an in-office team, and one clear approach: the client prints the documents we prepare - that's it. Everything else is on us.
Personal background: I grew up in the Jewish community in Australia, live today in Beit Shemesh, and speak Hebrew, Yiddish and English at native level.
My approach: I'm a doer. I see a challenge - I solve it. At USA Assistance we don't explain to clients why something 'can't be done' - we find a way to do it.
What it looks like in practice
Medical visa for a young woman before a life-saving operation in the US
A young woman needed to fly to the US for life-saving surgery and required an urgent medical visa. She was in intensive care and unable to attend the embassy interview. We arranged an interview waiver with the embassy - a highly unusual outcome - and the visa was issued in time. Her life was saved.
US birth certificate when the Israeli original was lost
An American family discovered that the handwritten birth certificate issued at the hospital had been lost - and without it, no Israeli birth certificate, and therefore no American one either. We contacted the hospital, searched the archives, and I personally went to collect a certified copy - and we obtained US birth certificates for their children.
US citizenship within 3 weeks, two days before age 18
A 17-year-old applied for citizenship via the grandparent route (N-600K). In one month she would turn 18 and lose eligibility. A process that normally takes a year - we closed in three weeks. Two days before her 18th birthday she received her citizenship certificate.
